about

Track 3 of 12 from The Majic 12

"The Moon & Stars" incorporates psychedelic rock riffs with a pop chorus and is composed to be the forerunner to track 4, "Keep It To Yourself".

The two songs together are about credible witnesses seeing unexplained UFO phenomena in Earth’s skies and being threatened to remain silent about it. Benom witnessed two UFO’s in March 2016 and has been discredited for speaking openly about the experience. Piecing together various declassified Freedom of Information Act documents, Plumb has researched the issue tirelessly. The songs inspiration comes from his research conclusion that hundreds of UFO cases remain unexplained and that witnesses who wish to speak openly are often silenced - whether by humiliation, intimidation or mysterious death.

lyrics

Verse 1
Hey man, what do you know?
They’re coming for you and they won’t let it go
Oh my, peace to the world?
They’ll give it up, they’ll give it up in a whirl

Chorus 1
We keep looking at the moon and stars
Yeah, but why do we try so hard?
And if they can kill us all night long,
Then you got time to hear this song

Oh my, the moon and the stars

Chorus 2
We keep looking at the moon and stars
Yeah, but why do we try so hard?
And if they can kill us all night long,
Then you got time to hear this song

Solo

Chorus 3
We keep looking at the moon and stars
Yeah, but why do we try so hard?
When the killer’s knocking on your door
Remember what you stand for
